Is producing educational videos on your to-do list? Would you like to explore new ways of creating content, but feel that the technology is holding you back? At Unigrafia’s teaching studio, producing educational videos and learning materials is quick and easy. Use a lightboard for visual clarity, place existing materials in the background with green screen technology, or even integrate a podcast series into your teaching. We take care of the tech – you focus on teaching and your core expertise.
Getting started with your educational video
You don’t need to know anything about technology, equipment or video production to appear in an educational video. Just show up, know your subject, and let us know whether you’d prefer to stand or sit. Together, we’ll choose a suitable background colour and lighting, and attach your presentation materials from a USB stick, the internet or directly from your computer. That’s all you really need.
If you’d like extra support, we can offer a teleprompter – especially helpful when you have a lot to say or need to recall lots of numbers. You don’t have to memorise everything.
From blackboard to lightboard
Traditional lecture recordings and talking head videos still have their place, but when your material includes dozens of formulas, complex diagrams or large amounts of data, just listening often isn’t enough. The lightboard technique helps to visualise even difficult topics and is particularly effective in natural sciences or number-heavy subjects such as economics.
Lightboard is a natural fit if you already use a blackboard or whiteboard in your teaching. Comprehension improves when information is structured visually on a non-reflective glass surface during the lecture. Drawing diagrams, highlighting key points and building your narrative visually helps students grasp even challenging content. You can also integrate slides, spreadsheets, or video clips into a lightboard session.
Green screen opens up new possibilities
Familiar from weather reports and cinema screens, green screen technology makes it easy to isolate the presenter from the background. This allows for effortless overlaying of video, infographics or background images behind the speaker. The entire screen can be filled from edge to edge with visuals, making the speaker appear as a seamless part of the digital content behind them.
Podcasts as part of teaching
Our studio is also fully equipped for podcast recording. If you’ve been considering turning your lectures into a popular podcast format or starting a subject-specific series, we’ve got everything you need to get started. Unigrafia’s teaching studio is ready to support you.
Everything described here can also be streamed live without interruption. Whether you’re pre-recording or going live, we can stream your teaching session through almost any platform of your choice.
